Ashley Stewart,
the premier fashion retailer for plus-size urban women, has partnered with
Dress for Success to work one-on-one with our women in ten local affiliate
markets. Each month local Ashley Stewart stores provide two Dress for Success
clients in these markets with a personal career wardrobe consultation. During
the consultation, the clients are personally styled in career-appropriate
apparel by the Ashley Stewart management team in each store. Many participating
Dress for Success affiliates have welcomed Ashley Stewart team members as
volunteers and supporters. More than 100 Dress for Success clients were suited
through the Ashley Stewart local partnership initiative in 2006-2007. In
addition, The Ashley Stewart Stores Community Foundation hosted a charity
concert, featuring Gladys Knight, in October 2006 to benefit Dress for Success
and two other charities. The charity concert raised $75,000 for Dress for
