Thank you for choosing to support Dress for Success!
Corporations willing to donate new product to the women we serve are making a unique difference to an industry-related cause. Enabling our women to interview and, in turn, enter the workforce wearing merchandise from your company is a feeling often described by both donors and our clients as incredible.
By August 2009 alone, corporations supported Dress for Success
by donating more than 207,000 pieces of new clothing and accessories totaling over $7.9 million.

If you represent an apparel, accessories or beauty/personal care company interested in making a
tax-deductible contribution of
new product to any of our Dress for Success locations, we are particularly in need of:
- Interview-appropriate suits and related separates (the greatest need is for
apparel size 14+)
- Solid color blouses to be worn under suits
- Career appropriate footwear in brown, black or navy. All shoes must be closed-toe with no heels higher than 3 inches. Sizes 8 and up are always in great need.
- Hosiery and undergarments (particularly in plus sizes)
- Tote bags, portfolios or briefcases
We also accept:
- Basic professional accessories (including jewelry, scarves, belts and handbags)
- Unopened cosmetics suitable for the workplace
- Coats and outerwear in season
Please be advised of our strict policy regarding sample merchandise. All sample apparel must be clean and ready to wear to an interview immediately with no marks or tears on the garments.
We do not accept:
- Men's clothing
- Used pantyhose or undergarments
- Swimwear
- Costume jewelry
- Evening wear or wedding dresses
- Furs
- Jeans
- Sneakers, slippers, sandals
- Opened personal care or cosmetics products
- Any items not appropriate for a professional environment
We encourage your company to put your end-of-season or excess items to good use! All contributions are tax deductible and must be shipped directly to a Dress for Success affiliate.
