Dress for Success Brookhaven's Professional Women's Group is hosting a one-day workshop on issues facing single mothers. Topices include resources available through local governments and agencies, how to talk about difficult issues with your children, the power of networking and job hunting skills, dating as a single mother, dealing with grief, overcoming an abusive relationship and alternative methods of income. Chinese Auction will benefit Brighter Tomorrows of Suffolk County, an organizationwhich helps women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Dress for Success Tulsa is hosting its annual, "Step Up To Success" Fashion Show and Auction on Friday, September 24th, 2010 at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 North Greenwood, Tulsa.
Doors open at 6:30 in the evening with a silent auction, wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a wide array of food selections representing Tulsa area restaurants.
Tulsa area men and women, representing Success in Corporate Tulsa will be modeling the latest fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue. We are pleased and proud to have Saks Fifth Avenue as a partner in our event this year!
The evening will also include a live auction event for the premier items offered.
