Wachovia, A Wells Fargo Company presents Look At Her Power, the 5th annual signature fundraiser to benefit Dress for Success Charlotte.
Look At Her Power is Thursday, Sept. 16, 6-9 p.m. at the Southern Women's Show, The Park (formerly Charlotte Merchandise Mart), 2500 E. Independence Blvd., Charlotte.
This year, we will present the STEPS TO SUCCESS awards to honor individuals who have done extraordinary work to move forward the mission of Dress for Success Charlotte and promote the economic independence of women. Honorees are Andie MacDowell; Sarah Belk Gambrell; Bob Hambright; Susan McDonough and Susan McKeithen.
Besides the awards, another highlight is the fashion show featuring our clients. You'll hear their success stories as they walk the runway in interview-appropriate attire from the boutique.
Cynthia Marshall, president of AT&T North Carolina, is the honorary chairwoman, and Maureen O'Boyle of WBTV will serve as emcee.

Dress for Success Hartford will be benefiting from Hartford's newest networking event, Tiara Tuesdays! Tiara Tuesday will be held on Tuesday 9/14 from 5:30-7:30 at Plan B Burger Bar, in Glastonbury. A $10.00 donation gets you in the door to network with other professionals. There will be free hors d'oeuvres and one Tiara Tuesday specialty drink included with your entrance fee.

Dress for Success Tulsa is hosting its annual, "Step Up To Success" Fashion Show and Auction on Friday, September 24th, 2010 at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 North Greenwood, Tulsa.
Doors open at 6:30 in the evening with a silent auction, wine, hors d'oeuvres, and a wide array of food selections representing Tulsa area restaurants.
Chera Kimiko, Fox 23 Anchor will be the evening's Emcee. Tulsa area men and women, representing Success in Corporate Tulsa will be modeling the latest fashions and accessories from Saks Fifth Avenue, complimented by Bobbie Brown Cosmetics and hair styling by Advanced Master Stylist Kim Freeman from Ihloff Salon.

First Ever Accessories Swap and Shop at Evergreen Walk
August 21 2010 : September 25 2010 Dress for Success Hartford
The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk is offering a fun, fashionable and eco-friendly girls’ night out by hosting its first ever Accessories Swap and Shop Event for women on Thursday, September 23rd from 5:30-9:00pm in suite 528, next to Bellini’s Italian Eatery. Registration is from 5:30-7:00pm, the actual swap starts at 7:15pm.
$5 to participate in the event. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Dress for Success Hartford.

Each participant will be able to bring up to 3 gently used or new accessories in exchange for a maximum of 3 tickets to be used in the swap. Items will be categorized and sorted into Couture, Moderate and Bargain. The following accessories will be accepted: handbags, jewelry, belts, shoes, and scarves. Keep in mind they must be very gently used or new.
Each participant will receive a swag bag with shopping and dining incentives and special giveaways from The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk merchants. The Center restaurants and specialty food stores will also be providing food sampling throughout the evening.
During the actual swap emceed by WTIC-FM’s Damon Scott and Debbie Wright of Project Closet, each attendee will have the opportunity to select merchandise from one of the 3 categories based on the ticket color. Any items remaining after The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk’s Swap and Shop Event will be donated to Dress for Success Hartford.
