 The mission of Dress for Success Houston is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.
Founded in the summer of 1998 by Nancy Levicki and Susie Cunningham, Dress for Success (DFS) Houston has grown from serving three non-profit member organizations to serving more than 110 nonprofits today in the Houston Metropolitan area. DFS Houston has served thousands of women, reflecting the overwhelming need in the Houston community. An independent 501(c)(3) corporation registered in the state of Texas, Dress for Success Houston is part of a worldwide network of 99 affiliates.

Since opening our doors in 1998, we have served more than 26,000 women with not only suits but by empowering them to succeed. In 2009, we have served 3,700 women.
