Dress for Success Baltimore is looking forward to serving the greater Baltimore community. The organization opened in May, 2007.
Dress for Success Baltimore is currently looking for (2)Board Members who are committed to working as a team to raise funding to increase our revenue overall by 30%. The Board Member Candidates must have experience in fundraising for non-profit organizations.
Dress for Success Baltimore will not be accepting clothing donations after October 27, 2009. The building we are in is being sold and we will need to find a new home, so we can continue to serve women in need. We will vacate the current space on November 30, 2009 and willpost on our website, when we will resume accepting donations and reopen our Boutique.
We are in need of about 1200-1400 sq ft. Please contact us if you can help us to continue to serve the community by helping women become employed. Last year alone, we suited 324 women and 40% were able to become employed, as a result of our support.
We often receive calls from donors who want to donate Men's clothing, we do not accept men's clothing, however another non-profit organization will gladly accept men's clothing as follows: "Million Dollar Man" can be contacted via e-mail mdm2429@gmail.com and their telephone number is 410-493-6395. Dress for Success Baltimore is participating in SHOP FOR A CAUSE at Macy's on October 17th, 2009. We were able to participate in the fundraising event and sold 45 coupons.
